Mini MTG Judge Conference
Event Information – Detroit, Michigan Local Conference – 2018 April 14th

We are excited to present the MI region of the Great Lakes judge community an opportunity to brush up on skills, learn some new tactics, and come together as a group. This conference is being developed with a focus on developing the skills needed to test for and succeed as an L2. However, this event is open to L0s, and L1s to observe, and potentially test for their certification. 


Presentation Agenda:

Each Presentation will be 40 minutes long, followed by a 10-minute Q&A and a 10-minute Break

Each Presentation will start on the hour; the first presentation of the day will start at “1:00 PM Eastern Time"

1) Registration and Introduction

a. 12:30 pm – Registration Begins

b. 12:50 pm – Introduction to Conference

2) 1:00 pm presentation

3) 2:00 pm presentation

4) 3:00 pm presentation

5) 4:00 pm presentation

6) 6:00 pm Break for Judge Dinner 

7) 7:00 pm Judge Event 


*Foils only available to all certified judges registered on Judge Apps in the event. If you are certifying at the event, foils will be unavailable to you per Judge Program policy. Judges must sign the presentation sheet that will circulate prior to each presentation. Foils will be handed out at the end of event. 


L1 Testing

We hope to be able to offer L1 testing for any interested judge. Please reach out via Judge Apps to Lyle Dixon, L2 and let us know if you are wanting to test. You will need to have proof that you have meet the checklist requirements before you will be able to test.We will only attempt to schedule a tester if there are eligible candidates ahead of time.


L2 Testing

We hope to be able to offer L2 testing for any interested judge. Please reach out via Judge Apps to Lyle Dixon, L2 and let us know if you are wanting to test. You will need to have proof that you have meet the checklist requirements before you will be able to test. Testing will only be offered to people who have completed the L2 checklist requirements and all regional pre-testing requirements.
